DAMAC Owner Hussain Sajwani’s Contributions to Dubai’s Real Estate Industry

Hussain Ali Sajwani, an Emirati entrepreneur, is the founder, CEO and the chairman of the DAMAC Group with significant shares in the Dubai Financial market. DAMAC is one the greatest property Development Companies globally. Hussain enrolled for an undergraduate course in economics at the University of Washington. He then joined GASCO serving as a contracts manager. Mr. Sajwani later joined Abu Dhabi National Oil Company as a junior staff member. In 2002, he established DAMAC after his hard work and determination to have a company of his own. His past experiences gave him confidence to start his own company after he identified a viable business opportunity. Sajwani later established an investment company, DICO Investment in 1992. In addition to that, he is the founder of AL Jazeira Services Co SAOG. He is a board member of some organizations like Emirates Takaful Company in Abu Dhabi and the Majan University College.

Some of the business operations carried out at DICO Investment Co LLC include; strategic holdings, ownership of subsidiaries in growth industries, and long-term investments. Hussain Sajwani has created rapport with the US president, Donald Trump, his real estate business partner. Hussain Sajwani collaborated with Trump’s real estate firm to build an international golf course in Dubai. Hussain Sajwani family attended the New Year’s Eve party at Trump’s Mara-a- Lago resort which is a way of strengthening their business relationship and friendship.

The Damac owner takes part in numerous charity projects. For instance, he donated two million Arab Emirates Dollars to buy clothes for needy children. He also donated to UAE Red Crescent to support refugees from Jordan and Lebanon. He also played a significant role in supporting the Tarahamu campaign.
